He was the son of Maurine (Washington) Addison and the late Theodore W. Addison, father of Ashley L. Addison. Robert had worked for Brown University for the last 23 years and was a lifelong Providence resident. Besides his mother and daughter he is survived by a brother, Theodore W. Addison Jr. of Clermont Fl, a step mother, Valerie M. Addison of North Kingstown, a step brother, Robert Gaul of Woonsocket, his step sisters, Shelley Francis of Cranston, Kimberly Morgan of North Kingstown, and his former wife Karen (Kraus) Addison of Johnston.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 5-8pm from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 10 am at Manning Chapel, at Brown University, located at the corner of Prospect St and Waterman Ave. Relatives and friends may visit the Chapel starting at 9am.
In lieu of flowers make donations payable to College Bond Fund for benefit for Ashley Addison.
