Elias Holder, 92, passed on December 17th at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Sheila (Lowman) Holder.
He had been employed in the Receiving Department of RI Hospital for over 15 years before retiring. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by four children, Linnell Baptiste, Arthley Holder, Wilber Holder and Keith Holder and five grandchildren, Darryl Holland Jr., Kysha Nelson, Anthony Asermelly, Latesha Holland and Stephanie Dodd, nine great grandchildren, four sisters Clair Alfred, Agnes Alfred, Jane Nelson, Eutrice Joefield, Brothers Kelvin Alfred, Lincoln Alfred, Floyd Alfred, and two nieces Yolanda Washington and Shirley Fung. He was the loving father of the late Gerard and Clyde Holder.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 22nd from 5pm until 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private.
