David I. Montenegro, 45, of Pawtucket, RI, took his last breath on February 1st, 2023, surrounded by his beautiful family. He was the beloved husband of Andreina Montenegro, to whom he was happily married for 21 years. David leaves behind his two daughters, Alani Montenegro and Aliana Montenegro, mother Elvira Montenegro, father Pablo Montenegro, mother in law Elvira Delgado, and two sisters, Gloria Mendez, and Velea Montenegro, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
David was a happy person who loved life; he grew up in Central Falls but later moved to Pawtucket. He loved cars, fishing, and camping with his friends. He also had a passion for basketball and was the assistant coach for Alani's Basketball Team at Saint Teresa School.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 8th, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Avenue, Rhode Island. A Mass will be on Thursday, February 9th, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at St. George's Episcopal Church in Central Falls, Rhode Island. Burial will follow at Swan Point Cemetery.
