On November 11, 1994 our beautiful, loving angel Alexandra Barbosa Fernandes was born in Tarrafal, Cabo Verde and migrated to USA where she worked, died unexpectedly at home in Pawtucket RI. At the age of 28.
Alexandra best known as "Muna" was a very outgoing, self-driven independent, loving and humble women, she loved to dance and sing, her smile always lights up a room. Being a mother was what she did best, she loved every moment of showing her son James Lopes what he means to her. She is also survived by three sisters Stefania, Zezinha and Gabriella Fernandes, four brothers Stephen, Henrique, Rafael and Dominic Fernandes. Alexandra leaves behind both parents; Martina Barbosa and Azevedo Fernandes both residing in Tarrafal, Cabo Verde.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday March 26 from 1pm-4pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Relatives and friends are invited to send her off to her family in Tarrafal, Cabo Verde.
