Mary Hermiz, 93, passed on March 23, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Thomas Hermiz.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret Kareemo. She was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket.
Mary was a kind, loving person and dedicated her life to her family, and was the happiest spending time with them. She enjoyed dining out, shopping and was also known for her sweet tooth.
She is survived by a son, Gary Hermiz and his wife Gail, and her three daughters Diane Deehan and her husband Patrick, Linda Newton and her husband David and Suzanne Hermiz, three grandchildren, Sean Deehan, Kristen Hermiz Dant Esq. and Katherine Hermiz, two great grandchildren Austin Deehan and Cameron Dant and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Sidney and James Kareemo.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 28th from 5pm until 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, March 29th at 10am with a service at 11am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls. thekeefefuneralhome.com.
