Carolyn Mary Boudreau (Domenici) passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, March 26, 2023 having lived a long fulfilling life. She was born Oct. 15, 1940 in Pawtucket, RI to her loving parents Elvio and Mary Domenici.
Carolyn worked for the former AT Cross Company for many years before retiring. After retiring she dedicated many years to caring for her grandchildren while allowing their parents to work. Carolyn was very artistic and has been known to paint beautiful manger scenes on the front window of her family home. She loved going on joy rides to New Hampshire to take in the foliage. When her children and her baby sister were little, she would take them all on adventures to various historical and interesting places throughout New England.
In June she would have celebrated 49 years of sobriety thanks to her participation in AA. She brought much love and hope to many who suffered from alcohol addiction. She also enjoyed cooking meals for the homeless shelter at Harvest Community Church in Woonsocket, RI.
Preceded in death by her parents, her sister Marilou Chamberland, and great grandson Zachary Ryan Boudreau.
She is survived by her siblings Everett Domenici (Florence) of Dennisport, MA and Naples, FL. Edward Domenici (Patricia) of N. Providence, RI. Nancy Bourdo (Duane) of Greenville, RI, and Teri-Lynn Glynn (Jim) of Lincoln, RI, a plethora of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Carolyn was a loving mother to five children, Charlene M. Boudreau of Pawtucket, RI, Cheryl A. Buco (Michael) of Lincoln, RI, Steven G. Boudreau of Chandler, AZ, Michelle L. Boudreau Donahue (Michael) of Warwick, RI and Eric J. Boudreau (Kyla) of Tempe, AZ.
She also leaves her grandchildren Elissa J. Boudreau, Samantha J. Laquerre, Lindsay A. Buco, John E. Garrahan V, Joseph A. Garrahan, Jake E. Boudreau, Kate C. Boudreau, and eight great grandchildren, Kaiden, Karsen, Lilly, Chris Jr., Benjamin, Mya, Noah and Oliver.
A visitation and memorial service will be held at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave., Lincoln, RI on Monday April 3rd, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a memorial service commencing at 12:30 pm. Burial private. Following the service, the family warmly welcomes all to Lancellottas Banquet Resturant, 1113 Charles St. North Providence. RI 02904.
