He was a WWII Air Force Veteran, a member of the Tuskegee Airmen and founder of the Black Air Foundation. He was a former RI State Representative in RI.
He was a Brown University Graduate and one of the founding member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity
He is survived by a daughter, Anna Maria Bowling, two sons, George S. Lima Jr. and Robert M. Lima Sr, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was one of 6 siblings
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home; Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will follow with military honors. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours will be held Friday from 5-8pm.
