Doris J. Dandurand, 100, of Barber Ave, passed away on July 8th, 2023, at home peacefully. She was the wife of the late Leo J. Dandurand and the former wife of the late Alfred LeBlanc. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the Solyme and Melanise (Fontaine) Messier. She resided in Central Falls and Pawtucket for most of her life.
She was employed by the former Hasbro of Central Falls for 18 years, retiring in 1985. She then was a cook for the Saint Cecilias convent for many years. She was a communicant of Saint Matthew church.
Doris is survived by her two sons Norman Messier and Richard LeBlanc, Three daughters Maureen Plamondon, Marilyn Riel, and Joan Sabatini, 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was the mother and grandmother of the late John Messier and Denise Dacier and the last surviving of many siblings.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 13th from 5pm-7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. Burial private.
