Walter R. Lenartowicz, 69, of Lincoln, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Rhode Island Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
He was the beloved husband of the predeceased Marlene J. (Delauder) Lenartowicz.
Walter was born on October 7, 1953, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, a son of the late Walter N. and Lillian M. Lenartowicz, and has been living in Lincoln for the past 35 years. Mr. Lenartowicz has been a successful self-employed business owner for the past 45 years.
He leaves behind his loving children: Joanna M. Annon and her husband Michael of Lincoln and Walter Lenartowicz Jr., and his girlfriend Melissa Lavallee of North Providence. He was also blessed with his beloved grandson Parker Annon. Walter was a loving husband, father, uncle, cousin and friend to many and will be greatly missed by all, including his dog Max.
A wake to honor Walter’s life will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 from 4pm-7pm at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, Rhode Island. His funeral will begin on Saturday, July 29th 2023 at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at St. Jude’s Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will be held graveside at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
