Kevin Miguel Batiz Jr. was born in Providence, Rhode Island, on August 25, 2004. All of his family members referred to Kevin as "Pooky" and specifically only allowed himself to be called as such by his family. He passed away on August 21st, 2023 at the age of 18, only a few days shy of his 19th birthday.
Kevin graduated from Franklin High School in 2022. Kevin was also very proud of his accomplishments after High School like getting a job at General Dynamics "Electric Boat" with many goals and plans for his future.
Kevin was always the most kindhearted and respectful person you could find. He was considerate of how he made others feel even with strangers. His interactions would leave everyone with a smile on their faces on any good or bad day. Kevin played unified basketball in Central Falls High School because he wanted to be a part of something that helped his community. He had a passion for cars for as long as we can remember and loved to attend car meets with his close friends. Kevin's therapy was always music of many different genres, mostly R&B and Rap. If you had the opportunity to have been around Kevin, even for just one interaction, you are a very lucky person.
Kevin leaves behind a lot of people who loved and supported him like his mother Jessica
