74, of East Barrows St, passed at the Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Maria A. (Denobrega) Franco. They have been married for 50 years.
Born in the Madeira Island, Portugal, a son of the late Henrique and Carolina (Gouveia) Franco.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, John N. Franco and his wife Nicole of North Scituate, two grandchildren, Dominic and Brittany Franco. A sister, Maria luiza Gomes of Sacramento, CA, and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial In St. Matthew Church, Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30am. Burial will be in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends invited, Calling hours Monday 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942
