Jeffrey "Foreman" Sena came into this world on July 26, 1988, in Providence, RI. He was the second eldest child of Conceicao "Connie" Dias and the late Joao "Papa" Sena. On August 27, 2023, he transitioned, reuniting with his loved ones.
Jeffrey's vibrant spirit and warm personality left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. Born in Providence and raised in Pawtucket, he became a beloved figure in the entire city. His laughter was a source of joy that filled rooms and uplifted hearts. Jeffery had a remarkable ability to turn around even the gloomiest days with his jokes and radiant smile. His honesty was unwavering, his dependability unquestionable, and his loyalty was a testament to his character.
He possessed a unique gift for connecting with others, making every person he met feel valued and cherished. His willingness to reach out, spend time with, and genuinely know everyone in his life set him apart. Jeffery's presence was a constant source of support for those fortunate enough to have known him. His legacy of being there for everyone will forever be remembered and cherished.
As we remember Jeffrey, let us celebrate the incredible impact he had on our lives and the lives of countless others. His memory will continue to inspire us to embrace life with the same humor, warmth, and dedication that he embodied so effortlessly.
Jeffrey's presence extended far beyond immediate relationships. He was not just a brother, but also a cherished godfather, son, nephew, and a member of a larger family that embraced him. His passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him deeply.
Among those who held him close were his devoted mother Conceicao "Connie" Dias, caring sister Lorraine "Lodiggity" Sena, beloved aunts and uncles Maria Gomes, Antonio Delgado Dias, Isabel Delgado De Sena Dias, Elesbone Delgado Dias, Alcindo Bernardino Delgado, Ariana Filomena Delgado Dias, and his grandmother Maria Isabel Delgado Dias. His goddaughter Mya Reverdes held a special place in his heart, along with his bonus mom Gelci Barros, youngest sister Candida Darosa Ostolaza, and brothers Kevin Veloso and Shane Darosa. Jeffrey is survived by numerous cousins, including Ana Cargile, Fernando Lopes, Arlindo Lopes, Joseph Dias, and many others, who held a special place in his heart and were an integral part of his life.
As he embarks on his journey home, he joins his late father Joao "Papa" Sena, his grandfather Bernardino Sena Dias De Oliveria, grandmother Maria P. Dias, uncles Helder Bernardino Delgado, Rui Alberto Delgado Dias, and his brother Mathew "Melo" Reveredes. In the wake of his passing, Jeffrey leaves behind a wide circle of family and friends, each touched by his warmth, humor, and unwavering support. His impact on their lives will be a lasting testament to the remarkable person he was.
His wake will be held on Wednesday, September 6th from 5pm to 8pm at The Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI 02865. In celebratation of Jeffrey's passion for sneakers and honor of his memory, we are encouraging everyone to wear their best sneakers. The burial will be private, family only and his Celebration of Life will be Saturday, Sept 9th TBD.
