Raymond Paul Zwolenski, 53 of Pawtucket entered into eternal peace on Wednesday August 30th. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Raymond J. and Kathleen M. (Murray) Zwolenski. Ray leaves behind two siblings, Thomas J. and Elizabeth R. Zwolenski both of Pawtucket.
Raymond was an avid fisherman who found solace in the outdoors and in nature. He loved animals and cared for any of God’s creatures who couldn’t help themselves. Ray was also accomplished in archery, bicycling and dirt bike riding. A lover of heavy metal music, Ray was seldom seen without his headphones, rocking out to one of his favorite metal bands. Ray could talk and relate with anyone he met. He was a brother like no other whose loyalty family knew no bounds. He sought to protect his brother and sister from the harsh realities of this life despite his own suffering with mental illness, a suffering he endured every day.
Ray leaves behind three aunts and two uncles: Patricia R. Murray, Roselyn V. MacGowan and Diane L. Ady; L. Vincent Murray III and Paul J. Zwolenski. He was especially close to his beloved cousin Jennifer A. Ramos.
