Joseph Da Silva, 83, passed peacefully on September 27, 2023. Born in Brava, Cape Verde, he was a son of the late Boaventura Da Silva and Lydia Goncalves.
Joseph had been employed at the former School House Candy and then retired from Hope Webbing in 2006.
Survived by his children, Antonio G. Da Silva, Maria Da Silva, Francisco Jose Da Silva, Lucia DaLomba, 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Joseph was one of thirteen siblings.
His funeral will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 with visitation beginning at 9am until 11am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 291 High St., Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
