Mildred E. (Clements) Cardoso, 94, of Providence, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Cardoso. Born in Henderson, NC she was a daughter of the late Harvey L. and Jane C. (Davis) Clements.
She is survived by a loving daughter, Chantay Allen; two granddaughters, Charmaine and Charlene Howie; eight great-grandchildren, Chamain, Pedro (Munchie), Zayila, Marque, Cherron, Perron, and Jurni; siblings, (twin) Milbert Barrows, Mollie Sylvester, Myrna Clements, Harvey Clements, Alice Pete, Carolyn Clements, Carlton Clements, Lisa Patterson and Viola Mitchner; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a great-grandson, Laurence Wheeler and sigblings, Lee Clements, Fred Clements, Ivory Clements, Mary Gill and Margaret Pizzarro.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, October 10th from 10:00am – 1:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial will be private.
