Joanne N. Lapre, 84, passed peacefully on October 4, 2023. She was the longtime companion of Carl Russo.
Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Estelle (Bechard) Faille.
Joanne had been employed by Collyer Wire for many years and then retired from Leviton Manufacturing. She was a devoted Communicant of St. Jude Church, Lincoln.
She is survived by two sons, Jay Lapre, his wife Linda, Paul G. Lapre, his wife Dottie, a daughter, Lisa M. Sweetman, a sister Pauline Roy, six grandchildren, Kristel Lesh, her husband Dennis, Michael J. Lapre, Melissa Lapre, David Lapre, his wife Tabitha, Alexis N. Lapre and Madison J. Lapre, a great granddaughter, Serena J. Skowron. She was the mother-in-law of the late John Sweetman.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 4pm until 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 10am in St. Jude Church, Front St., Lincoln. Burial will be private.
