Otis Edmond Diggs Jr. of Pawtucket, Rhode Island passed away on September 23, 2023. Otis was born on Jan. 4, 1985 to Venetta Cassell and Otis Edmond Diggs Sr in Manhattan, NY. Growing up in Pawtucket he attended Cunningham elementary , Slater Jr High as well as Shea High School. Otis was known in his earlier years for his dynamic skills in basketball, his natural musical abilities and most popularly known as a self taught & published barber. Most recently Otis attended the NETT School to become a certified electrical engineer which he was able to successfully complete and pass his state board licensing exam early September. Otis E. Diggs, Jr. leaves behind his children, Kyrah Gaines, Rashya Lovett. Otis was predeceased by his grandparents (father side)William H. Diggs & Susanna Newberry-Diggs. (mother side) Amos B. Cassell, Ernest V Palmer, Etta Dorley Palmer, Williette Page Palmer. He is survived by his siblings Edmond (TC) Diggs, Ottie Diggs- Antoine, Oteeven Diggs, Maya Diggs & Nikolas Diggs. May the soul of our dearly beloved son, father, brother, cousin, uncle and friend rest in peace and may his perpetual light shine upon us.

The wake keeping will be held at Trinity Methodist Church, 375 Broad st. Providence, RI 02907 on Friday October 20, 2023 at 6pm. His Funeral will begin on Saturday, October 21st at the same location at 9am. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
