April, 1939 to March 26, 2011, died at home after a brief illness. He was a self-employed long distance Tractor Trailer driver for many years. Eric hails from St Croix, US Virgin Island. He leaves one daughter Violet Marcus of Brooklyn, NY, 3 sons, Eric A Marcus Jr., Herman A Marcus, and Gregory B Marcus, all of Long Island, NY, 3 sisters, Helen Stanley of FL; Marble King of St Croix and Gwendolyn Samuel of CT; Two brothers, Herman Marcus and Reginald Samuels, both of St Croix Virgin Island, several nieces and nephews as well a devoted 2 year companion, Patricia Black. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Relatives and friends are invited and may visit starting at noon.
