Robert "Bob" Menard, 64, of North Smithfield, RI, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2023 surrounded by family after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Born on October 29,1958, he was the beloved son of the late Rita J. Menard. He is survived by his ex wife Debbie (Zabek) Menard, his children Heather and Derek Andrews, Robert Jr. and Cassie Menard and his grandson, Max. He is also survived by his siblings: Ray and Pam Menard of Cumberland, also his loving caregivers during his final days, Richard Menard of Ohio, Shirley MacDonald and Ted of Smithfield and Lisa Disalvia and Mike of Warwick. Bob is predeceased by his sister Diane Rodrigues and sister-in-law Helga Menard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob, affectionately known as "Bob the builder" was well known for the continuous help he always offered,
shared and provided to his family, neighbors, friends and his clients. If it needed to be fixed, Bob could fix it and he was always willing to do so, especially for his family. Bob had a love of animals, enjoyed fishing and a round of golf here and there. Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew him and those who were the recipients of his generous spirit and assistance.
