Humberto Silvio Lopes 84, passed peacefully around his loving family on October 26, 2023. Born in Brava Cape Verde, He was son of the late Armanda Barbosa and Jose Lopes. Humberto was employed at Brown University for 13 years. Survived by his wife Alcione Lopes, Children Isabell Lopes, Jean Lopes, Patrick Lopes, Niles Lopes, JeanRene Lopes, the late Eric Lopes, Humberto Lopes jr and his daughter Kelly Lopes, 22 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren, many nephews and nieces. Humberto has 18 siblings. Humberto was a loving and caring guy who loved gatherings and playing the Guitar. He loved great company, and enjoyed being with his family.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 4pm until 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, November 3, 2023 in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
All services Friday start at St. Anthony Church, please assemble in church back parking lot prior to 10am.
