Normand A. Levesque, "The Norm" 68, of Cumberland, and most recently Central Falls, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 24th. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and godfather.

Normand was born on April 2, 1955, to the late Normand E. and Rhea (Collignon) Levesque. Normand worked in retail most of his life and was a part-time bartender at The Friendly Tap in Cumberland where he made many lifelong friends. He enjoyed fishing and taking chances at Keno. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and WWE fan. Normand was a doting uncle. He could always be heard asking his nieces and nephews about their lives: kids, work, pets. He had a resounding and distinctly recognizable laugh that could be heard echoing at any family gathering.

He is survived by his three sisters: Denise Lima and her husband Joe of East Providence, Yvette Chartier and her husband Bill of Pawtucket, Elaine Catalan, and her husband Mark of Pawtucket; his brother Gerard “Gus” Levesque and his wife Sue of Central Falls; 8 nieces and nephews and 11 great-nieces and great-nephews. He was uncle to the late Neil St. Jean.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 14th from 4pm-6pm with a service immediately following. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Normand’s name to Camp Ker-Anna in Cumberland, RI.
