Diane Michelle Brissette DiMeglio, 62 years old, left this world on December 1, 2023. She was the beloved spouse of James DiMeglio and loving mother of Christopher Marion. Born in Pawtucket, the 12th child of Aime and Claire Brissette.

Diane is survived by sisters Claire Lamoureux, Marie Lazio, Elaine Marine and Carol Sylvestre; by brothers Aime Brissette, Robert Brissette, Richard Brissette and Charles Brissette; and by the late Jeanne Matthews, Anne Currier, Roland Brissette, Edward Brissette, and Paul Brissette.

Diane graduated with high honors from Bryant University. Gifted with a high level of organizational skills which never seemed to diminish, she worked in the business field in various areas. Born to a musical family, Diane loved to sing, pursued vocal training for a season and had fun doing karaoke with family and friends. She was a beautifully genuine, sometimes bluntly honest person who demonstrated resiliency and perseverance birthed from a childlike faith, praying sometimes hours nightly until she feel asleep.

Diane volunteered as a cub scout den mother for her son and was his best cheerleader at his high school and college football games. She also later volunteered @ Memorial Hospital.
Diane enjoyed joining the card playing members of the family at holiday time and was a fierce competitor. She also had great renown for her fat laden and very delicious mashed potatoes, of which there were never any leftovers. Her favorite furry friend was Cassie her cat. Her smile brightened a room and now she’s shining it in heaven and walking the streets of gold.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 11th at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson ave. Lincoln followed by a service starting at 10:30am. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston RI.
