Doris (Laplume) Larivee, 92, passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on December 15, 2023. She was the wife of the late Norman G. Larivee for 60 years.
A lifelong Central Falls resident, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Lillian (Gagnon) Laplume.
Doris is survived by two sons, Ronald G. Larivee and his wife Bonnie of Chepachet and Michael R. Larivee of Chepachet, a daughter, Susan Fugere and her husband Robert of North Providence, six grandchildren, Dawn, Heather, Eric, Ronald, Kristen and Derek, 9 great grandchildren, Jared, Christopher, Johnathan, Gabriella, Amanda, Elizabeth, Jordan, Makailyn and Joshua, two great-great grandchildren, Lei’a and Landen, as well as many nieces and nephews, She was the sister of the late Roger Laplume, Robert Laplume, Dolores McLaughlin, Maurice Laplume, Norman Laplume and Pauline Laplume.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 18, 2023 from 4pm until 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, December 19, at 9:30am in Holy Spirit Parish. Dexter St., Central Falls, RI.In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Hope Health Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
