Pastor Rene Gonzalez, 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on December 15, 2023. He was the husband of Hilda Felicita Gonzalez for 52 years. Resident of Providence Rhode Island of Guatemalan nationality, being the son of Felino Gonzalez and Isabel Gonzalez Rodriguez, Christian parents who instilled in him the fear of God from his childhood. Rene is survived by four children, Suly Gonzalez, Meylin Gonzalez, Oseas Gonzalez, Geraldine Gonzalez, Thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 4pm-10pm and Friday, December 22, 2023 from 11am-2pm at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, Rhode Island 02865. Burial will be held in Guatemala.

Residente de Providence Rhode Island de nacionalidad Guatemalteca, siendo hijo de Felino Gonzalez e Isabel Gonzalez Rodriguez Padres Cristianos que inculcaron a el, el temor de Dios desde su niñes. A Rene le sobreviven cuatro hijos, Suly Gonzalez, Meylin Gonzalez, Oseas Gonzalez, Geraldine Gonzalez, Trece nietos y dos bisnietos. El velorio se llevara a cabo el Jueves 21 de Diciembre de 2023 de 4 p.m a 10 p.m y Viernes 22 de Diciembre de 2023 de 11am a 2pm en la funeraria Keefe, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, Rhode Island 02865. El entierro será en Guatemala.
