Edward W. Foran, 85, passed on January 14, 2024. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Hogg) Foran. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Alfred A. and Mary E. (Melia) Foran.
After serving in the Navy, he was a longtime Central Falls Police Officer.
He enjoyed cars, gardening, walking West Dennis Beach and sunsets at Cold Storage Beach. He also loved his beloved dogs, Candy and Chi Chi, and talking to everyone he met during his shopping trips.
Besides his wife Mary Ann, he is survived by a daughter, Mary P. Chace, her husband Daniel H. Chace, a granddaughter Brigid Chace, sister Claire Gamache and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by siblings Walter, Alfred, Francis and Raymond Foran, Mary Molak and Agnes Cameron.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 19, 2024, from 5pm until 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private in Mt St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
