Richard Paul Lavoie, of Tiverton, RI, died on January 7,2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital, In New Bedford, MA.
He was born in Pawtucket, RI, to Ernest and Rose Lavoie. He graduated, in 1974, from Central Falls High School. Richard and his family relocated to Georgia where they resided for nearly 40 years, before returning to live In RI, In late 2021.
Richard is survived by his wife, Debbie (Ferriera) Lavoie; his daughters: Nichole Lavoie, of Durham, NC, and Leigh-Anne (Lavoie) Bojarski, of Mequon, WI; two sons-in-law; a granddaughter, Mirabelle Rose Bojarski; a nephew, Brad Lavoie; a niece, Allison Lavoie. He loved and valued all branches and twigs of the Ferriera family tree, and counted them as his sisters, brothers, in-laws, outlaws, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of life gathering will be held for relatives and friends, in a warm weather month to be determined.
