Teodora Hernandez,107, passed away on February 1,2024. She was the wife of Jose Mejia for 45 years. Born in El Salvador, she lived in Rhode Island for over thirty years.

Teodora was a wife and mother who enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.. She enjoyed seeing her children,grandchildren and great grandchildren when they visited her. In addition to her family, she enjoyed reading the bible and singing religious songs. She had a strong faith and she would always pray for everyone at night. She was very thankful for what she had in her life.

She is survived by her children the late Candelaria Hernandez, Jose Hernandez, Manuel Hernandez, Marina Hernandez, Maria Hernandez, the late Antonio Hernandez, and Aurora Hernandez. She is also survived by over thirty grandchildren and over thirty great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who loved her but heaven has gained a beautiful soul.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 6th 2024 from 5pm-8pm at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Her funeral will be on Wednesday, February 7th 2024 at 10:00am Directly at St. Bartholomew’s Church, 297 Laurel Hill Ave, Providence. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground Cemetery 700 N.Main Street, Providence.

Teodora fue una esposa y una madre que disfrutaba cocinar,plantar flores, y pasar tiempo con su familia. Ella disfrutaba ver a sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos cuando la venían a visitar. Además de su familia,ella disfrutaba de leer la biblia y cantar canciones religiosas. Ella tenía una fe muy fuerte y siempre rezaba por todos cada noche. Ella estaba muy agradecida por todo lo que tenía en su vida.

Ella es sobrevivida por sus hijos, Candelaria Hernandez(fallecida), Jose Hernandez, Manuel Hernandez, Marina Hernandez, Maria Hernandez, Antonio Hernandez (fallecido), y Aurora Hernandez. También es sobrevivida por más de treinta nietos y más de treinta bisnietos. Ella será extrañada por todos los que la querían pero el cielo ha ganado un alma bella.

Su velorio y horas de visita son de 5-8pm el martes seis de febrero, en la casa Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln.Su funeral será el miércoles 7 de febrero de 2024 a las 10:00 am en la iglesia de St. Bartholomew, 297 Laurel Hill Ave, Providence. Después, sigue el entierro al cementerio de North Burial Ground, 700 N. Maini Street, Providence.
