Susan E. Perry, 72 passed peacefully on February 16, 2024. She was the wife of William E. Perry Jr. They would have celebrated their 40th anniversary on August 31, 2024.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Thelma (Freebairn) Hamel. She had been employed as a threader at Seekonk Lace and Lavers Lace for many years, retiring in 2014.
Besides her husband William, she is survived by a stepson, Willaim E. Perry III, a sister Audrey Dolan, brother, Paul Hamel (Linda Papineau), James Hamel and Mark Hamel (Lisa Hamel) and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings David Hamel and Joyce Bourgault.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 beginning at 10am until noon followed by a service in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
