Joao L. Ventura, 82, of Pawtucket, passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 1st, 2024. He was the husband of the late Estrella Ventura and the late Maria Ventura.
Joao enjoyed watching soccer, gardening, and making wine.
He is survived by his children, Joao A. Ventura and his wife Luisa, Edwarda Ventura, Susan Ventura, David Ventura and his wife Kristen; six grandchildren, Kyle Ventura, Chantal Ventura, Kayleigh Ventura, Toni-Ann Hawkins and her husband Justin, Lorynn Ventura, Laela Ventura; three great-grandchildren, Madisyn Card and Jeremyah and Lilyana Hawkins.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, March 5th from 10:30am – 12:00noon at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00pm in St. Anthony Church, 32 Lawn Ave., Pawtucket. Burial is private. In Lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
