Mario I. Goncalves returned to God on March 8, 2024 at the age of 69. Born in Brava, Cape Verde, he was the proud son of Antonio and Carlota (Galvao) Goncalves and brother to eleven siblings that loved him dearly.
Mario is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 46 years, Dulcelinda Goncalves, who was his primary caregiver throughout his fight against ALS. He is also survived by his children Heidi, Mario, Kenny, Melissa and five beautiful grandchildren that brought so much love and joy to his life.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, March 14th at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln from 4pm-7pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 15th directly at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 291 High St. Pawtucket RI at 10:30am. The burial will follow at Mount St. Mary Cemetery in Pawtucket.
