80, of Watson St, passed Friday at the Pawtucket Health Center surrounded by her loving family.
She was the wife of the late Lester E. Farrar.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Ernest and Alma (Gendreau) LaPlante.
Florence was an avid Bingo and Card Player.
She is survived by a son, James R. Farrar and his wife Sandra, a step daughter, Elva Mae Borden, a grandson, Travis Farrar and six step grandchildren, eighteen great step-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild, all of Maine. She is also survived by a brother, Oscar E. LaPlante and his wife Mary of Pawtucket, a sister, Rosemarie Spavold of Central Falls, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Relatives and friends invited, calling hours Monday 4-7pm.
