Antonio G. Soares, 74, passed April 14th , 2024. Born in St. Miguel, Azores, he was the husband of Maria C. (Leite) Soares for over 44 years. He had been employed by Monet as a plater for 24 years before retiring. He was an avid team Porto Fan.
He is survived by his two brothers Jose Goncalves Soares and his wife Maria F. Soares, Frank Goncalves Soares and his wife Maria G. Soares, nephew David Soares and his wife Gina Soares and niece Jenny Silva and her husband Bob Silva, and goddaughter Michelle F. Soares. He was the uncle of the late Steven Soares.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024, from 5pm-8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from the Keefe Funeral Home at 11am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence at 12:30pm. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
