Victor M. De Andrade, 90, passed peacefully on April 17, 2024 surrounded by love. He was the husband of Patrocinia (Almeida) Andrade for over 46 years.
Born in Queluz, Sintra, Portugal, a son of the late Francisco Andrade and Maria Do Espirito Santo.
Victor emigrated to the United Sates in May of 1966 and worked at American Insulated Wire of Pawtucket for 34 years, however he never lost his love of Portugal.
He joined the Portuguese Social Club in 1966, a member at the U.P.B. since 1969 and was a former President for twelve years and Secretary for three years, a member of the Holy Ghost
Brotherhood of Charity, Rehoboth, MA in 1985 and Irmandade Do Divino Espirito Santo Benfeitores da U.P.B.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son Paulo V, Andrade, a daughter, Sandra A. Faria, her husband Brian, stepson, Carlos Da Silva, his wife Lori, grandchildren Chris Ferreira, Jessica Smith, Jacob Z. Camara, Matthew J. Camara, John Da Silva, Jessica Da Silva, Nicholas Da Silva and Anthony Da Silva and six great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Alice M. Burrows.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 3pm-6pm in the Keefe Funeral Home. His funeral will begin on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 8:30am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave., Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
