Tarquinio Gutierrez, 69, of Central Falls, passed away peacefully at home on 4/19 surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia, he was the son of the late Hector and Esperanza Gutierrez. He emigrated to the United States in 1991to pursuit a better life and more opportunities for his family.
Tarquinio is survived by his wife of 49 years, Luz Gutierrez and his eight children, Esperanza, Jovany, John, Jair, Evelin, Hector, Jorge, and Alejandro. A loving grandfather, Tarquinio will be forever missed by his adored grandchildren, James, Raphael, Jacob, Jeremy, Rony, John Jr, Johnathan, Kyara, Mason, Danny, Eliannis, Jaylen, and Abigail; and his great grandchild Milani. Tarquinio is also survived by his sisters Elena, Doris, Rocio, and Palmelida and his brothers Rodrigo, Jaime, Ivan, Hector, and Jairo, who predeceased him as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Tarquinio enjoyed watching TV, especially soccer games and cartoons with his grandchildren. He loved cooking traditional Colombian food for his family and listening to old school salsa music. He will be forever remembered by his strong commitment to provide for his family, protect them and by his positive energy and love for having a good time with family and friends.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, April 24th from 4-7p.m. in the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, RI.
Visiting hours will also be Thursday, April 25th from 8:15 – 8:45 a.m. in the funeral home prior to a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Spirit Parish, 1030 Dexter St., Central Falls, RI. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, 261 W. Wrentham Rd., Cumberland.


Tarquinio Gutiérrez, de 69 años, de Central Falls, falleció en su casa Abril 19, lleno de paz y rodeado de su amada familia. Nacido y criado en Barranquilla, Colombia, era hijo del fallecido Héctor y Esperanza Gutiérrez. Emigró a Estados Unidos en el año 1991 en busca de una vida mejor y más oportunidades para su familia.
A Tarquinio le sobreviven su esposa de 49 años, Luz Gutiérrez y sus ocho hijos, Esperanza, Jovany, John, Jair, Evelin, Héctor, Jorge y Alejandro. Un abuelo amoroso, Tarquinio siempre será extrañado por sus adorados nietos, James, Raphael, Jacob, Jeremy, Rony, John Jr, Johnathan, Kyara, Mason, Danny, Eliannis, Jaylen y Abigail; y su bisnieto Milani. A Tarquinio también le sobreviven sus hermanas Elena, Doris, Rocio, y Palmelida y sus hermanos Rodrigo, Jaime Iván, Hector, y Jairo, que falleció antes que él, así como muchas sobrinas, sobrinos y familiares y amigos.
A Tarquinio le gustaba ver la televisión, especialmente los partidos de fútbol y también dibujos animados o muñequitos con sus nietos. Le encantaba cocinar buena comida colombiana para su familia y escuchar salsa clásica. Siempre será recordado por su fuerte compromiso y dedicación de ser proveedor, protector, y mantener a su familia. También por su energía positiva y amor por pasar un buen rato con familiares y amigos.

El horario de visita será Miércoles, Abril 24 de 4-7p.m. en la Funeraria Keefe, 5 Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, RI.
El horario de visita también será el Jueves, Abril 25 de 8:15-8:45 a.m. en la funeraria antes de una Misa de Entierro Cristiano a las 9:30 a.m. en la Parroquia del Espíritu Santo, 1030 Dexter St., Central Falls, RI.
El entierro se realizará en el cementerio Resurrection Cemetery, 261 W. Wrentham Rd., Cumberland.
