Domenic Joseph Ogni, Jr., 91, formerly of Pawtucket, RI, passed away on May 31, 2024 in North Smithfield. Domenic was born in Pawtucket to Domenic Joseph and Irene Marion (Pommenville) Ogni on September 3, 1932. He attended Pawtucket East High School. Domenic saw combat duty during the Korean War. He worked in the textile industry until he became a Master Plumber. Domenic served many households in the Pawtucket area. He was active in the Master Plumbers Association and the IDIP Club (Italian Dramatic and Independent Political Club).
Domenic is survived by his brother, Arthur Ogni, of Lincoln, RI, his children Rosanna (and Raymond) Doughty of Burrillville, Raymond (and Debra) Ogni of Coventry, Corinne Doyle and Deborah Ogni of Pawtucket, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded by his wife, the late Cecille Marie Lussier, and his sisters, Rita Langlois and Irene Lemieux.

Funeral service will be held at St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Church, Newport Ave., Pawtucket, on Wednesday, June 5, at 10:00 AM. Visitation is at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, RI on Tuesday, June 4, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to St. Antoine’s and Hope Health Hospice for their guidance in Domenic’s final days.
