Edna C. Scott, 76, of Pawtucket, passed peacefully surrounded by loving family on June 14, 2024. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Edna (Pearson) Theilig.

Edna worked as a secretary in the Disability department for the State of Rhode Island for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored. But her favorite past times were going to the beach with her daughter Kim to listen to the waves crash and watch the Sandpipers, shopping faithfully every Saturday in Boston with her sister Joyce for thirty years, and having high spirited shenanigans with her best friend of 67 years, Carol Dooley! Edna was a member of the “Gutter Girls” bowling team, sharing laughter and friendly competition with her girlfriends. She also loved to exercise and Zumba with her friends at the Lincoln Senior Center, and looked forward to Thursdays for the weekly “Ladies Lunch” with “The Girls”. Her family and friends will always remember her for her positive attitude, kindheartedness, generosity, and keen sense of humor.

She is survived by two children, Kimberly McKenna and her husband Michael of Tiverton, James Scott of Johnston; a sister, Joyce Sizemore of Cumberland; five grandchildren, Madison and Michael McKenna, Brian, Sara, and Nicole Scott; a great-granddaughter, Liza Cazeault. She was the sister of the late Sheila Staradumsky.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 21st beginning with visiting hours from 9:00am - 11:00am at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a funeral home service at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls.
