(Wood), 76, a resident of Pawtucket, RI for 50 years passed away on Thursday (April 27, 2011 after courageously battling Stage 4-b Cervical Cancer for two years. Mrs. Brunelle elected home hospice care and was surrounded by her sons Arthur and Bruce Law of Pawtucket, and their dog, a six year old Eurasian named Makara.
Elizabeth was proud to be a "Six Star Navy Parent".
Elizabeth was the wife of the late Ernest Brunelle, and mother of 5 sons Leslie Law, USN Retired, Fayetteville, TN, Raymond Law, USN, San Diego, CA, Arthur Law, USN, and Bruce Law, USN both of Pawtucket, and Roger Law, USN of Orlando, FL and 2 daughters Wendy Law, Louisville, KY and LCDR. Elaine Brunelle, USN, currently serving on active duty, San Diego, CA. She also leaves behind 8 Grand Children, 5 great-grand children along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Howard and Lucy (LaFantasie) Wood, and sister to Marjorie Bein of Sterling, CT, Barbara Maguire of Fayetteville, TN, Joan Marriott of Sterling, CT and Carol Edson of Massena, NY, and her late brothers Edward, Howard, Byron and Warren Wood.
In lieu of flowers, Elizabeth would ask those who wish to make contributions in honor of her memory to donate to the charity of their choosing, or volunteer their time in the service of helping others.
