Wilfred "Rum" Dennis, 49, of Providence RI, passed away on June 19, 2024. Wilfred was known for his big giving heart and will be remembered for his boundless and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. His sarcastic wit and humorous nature brought smiles, joy, and laughter to everyone around him.

Wilfred’s protective spirit and immense love for his loved ones were showcased in all of his actions. He cherished every moment with his children, always made the time to check in on everyone and offer his wisdom. A determined and hard worker, Wilfred’s perseverance and commitment were unparalleled; to know him was to love him.

He leaves behind a powerful legacy of love, humor, wit, and kindness. Wilfred will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his children Kiana, Jacob, Trinity, Matteo, and Kaden, his parents Angie and Isaac, his sisters Maimah and La’tesa, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. May his memory bring comfort and strength during this extremely difficult time.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 5th 2024 from 5pm-8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. His funeral will begin Saturday, July 6th at 10am from the Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence.
