Maria Amelia Faria 80, of Pawtucket, R.I. passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her daughters on June 30, 2024. She was the wife of the late Adelino V. Faria.
Mrs. Faria was born in Terceira, Azores, Portugal. She was the daughter of the late Joao Lourence Toste and Maria Constancia Rocha.

Mrs. Faria emigrated to the United States in 1981, soon she was employed by Interpak of Pawtucket until her retirement. She was a member of the Amigos de Terceira where she was known as one of the best cooks!. She was an active communicant and volunteer at St Anthony Church and many of their functions.
She is survived by three children, Adelina F. Lima of Pawtucket, R.I. and her husband Jose Lima of Florida, Belina Faria of Connecticut, John Faria and his wife Lucia of California. She was also the mother of the late Maria C. Faria. She leaves seven grandchildren, Joshua Lima and his wife Marissa, Ashley Kania and her husband Pawel, Stefanie Murillo and her husband Vidal, Matthew and Jonathon Faria, Nicholas and Fallyn Pio. Maria also leaves behind her great-grandson, Cole Kania.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, R.I. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at St. Anthony Church, 32 Lawn Ave. Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery Pawtucket, R.I. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org.
