She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Laura was the sister of the late Joao Marcelino Pires, Jose Marcelino Pires, Carlota Pires Spinola, Eugenia Pires Pina, Amelia Pires Gonsalves and Candida Pires Duarte
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:45am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Edward Church, Weeden St, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket, Calling hours will be held Friday 5-9pm.
