Joao J. Ramos, 83, passed on July 7, 2024. He was the husband of Albertina (Lima) Ramos.
Born in Santo Antao, Cape Verde, he was a son of the late Jansenio Manuel Ramos and Rosa Amelia Morais Ramos.
Besides his wife, he is survived by five sons, Augusto Ramos, Paulo Ramos, Nilton Ramos, Helder Ramos and Joao M. Ramos, a daughter, Denise Ramos, fourteen grandchildren, his brothers and sisters Eduardo Quiteria Silva, Vitorina Ramos Fortes, Isolina Ramos Gomes, Antonio Monteiro Ramos, Manuel Gomes Ramos, Alzira Monteiro Ramos, Jose Gomes Ramos, Teresa Ferreira, Manuel Ramos and Joaquim Ramos and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave., Pawtucket. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 4pm until 7pm.
