Roger G. Miller, 86, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on July 13, 2024 at home. He was the husband of Roberta (Lemieux) Miller. They had been married for 18 years. Born in Louisville, KY, Roger was the son of the late Richard G. and Dorothy Miller.
Roger was a 22-year U.S. Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He wrote and recorded 300 or more country songs for national and local artists. He was a member of the Country Music Association of RI.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Mary E. Kearns, her husband Wayne Carlow, Edward Kearns, his wife Gina and Jamie Kearns, his wife Millie, a brother Larry Miller and many grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial with military honors will be held Thursday at 10:00am in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
