Sadly on Saturday the 27th Jeannine Dextradeur passed after months of courageously battled her aggressive illness at Life Care Center of Raynham. Born to Hector and Dorilla Dextradeur, Jeannine was the fourth child raised in a family of nine. Central Falls was her home most of her life until a recent move to South Attleboro.
She was an extremely talented and creative crafter that truly enjoyed blessing others with her beautiful handiwork. She gave children’s quilts generously to Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Also knitted or crocheted scarfs, hats and mittens for the needy, hats for newborn babies and for deployed soldiers.
She was well traveled and enjoyed Polka music and dancing. She loved regaling us with stories of her escapades. She worked for Texas Instruments over 25 years before retiring. She then enjoyed her retirement with family and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents, sisters Lucy Robidoux and Claudette Dion and brother Henry Dextradeur. Surviving siblings are Rachelle Dextradeur, Vivian Despot and her husband Paul, brothers Joseph (George) Dextradeur and partner Judy Campisi, Leo Dextradeur and wife Margaret and Eugene Dextradeur. She leaves many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Wednesday, July 31st from 5pm-8pm at The Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson ave. Lincoln. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, August 1st at 10:00 AM at St. Aidan’s Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. We will be meeting only at church. Burial is at Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket.
