Normand Clement Laliberte, 78, of East Providence, peacefully passed away at Hope Health Hospice Center on July 28th in Providence. Normand was born in Central Falls to Louis and Cecile (Roy) Laliberte on March 5, 1946.
He attended Sacred Heart High School and earned a business degree at Providence College. He was employed as a sales associate for Coca-Cola and then worked at Nabisco for 32 years. Normand loved boating and fishing and was an active member of the North Attleboro Power Squadron where he earned the title of Commander. He enjoyed photography and woodworking and was involved with the Boy Scouts, Troop 2 in Central Falls.
He is survived by his eldest sister, Anita Rancourt of Connecticut and his sister, Lucille Langlois of Central Falls. He was predeceased by his sisters, Laurette O’Hagan and Claire St. Pierre. He is survived by seven nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews. A private funeral service will be held at Notre Dame Cemetery Chapel on Friday, August 2nd at 11:00am.
