James W. Robinson Jr. , 78, passed away on August 9, 2024 peacefully at his home in Cumberland, RI. Born in Traverse City, MI, he was the son of James and Bertha (Twiddle) Robinson.
Jim (“Rob”) served in the US Naval Service and was employed by Ark-Les Corporation, in Stoughton, MA for over 30 years.
Jim is survived by two sons James (and Deb) and Scott Robinson, a daughter, Melissa (Robinson) Miranda, a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Robinson, and seven grandchildren, Tabatha (and Jose), Cassondra (and Jarrod) Mikaela (and Jonathan), Brady, Sophia, Tyler, and Annaleigh. Jim is also survived by eight great grandchildren, Jordan, Jose, Ezra, Joselina, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ryleigh, and Elijah.
Jim was an avid reader and enjoyed watching just about every sport. His favorites include NASCAR, the NFL, MLB, and the NBA. While he could strike up conversation just about everywhere he went, we all know Jim was a very private man. His wishes are to forego a service or funeral. Instead his family will honor his wishes and schedule a small, private gathering to remember and honor him.
A special thank you is extended to the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.
