Arlene M. Ambeault, 85, passed away peacefully in her home in Lincoln, RI on August 13, 2024. Born in Central Falls, RI she was the daughter of Omar and Mildred (Eaton) Pion and the loving wife of the late Robert P. Ambeault.
Robert was the love of Arlene’s life. They loved traveling together and shared many memorable vacations together. On any given Sunday, you could find them in their Sunday best, getting ready to go on a drive down to the Cape.
Arlene was a hair dresser and serviced many loving clients in her own salon, Arlene’s Beauty Spot, in Lincoln, RI for 47 years.
Arlene had a joyous laugh, a wonderful sense of humor and instantly became a friend to all those who met her. Her love language was cooking, and was always planning a new meal, whether it was for a weekday dinner, a tailgate for a sporting event, a holiday party, or volunteering at the local soup kitchen. Arlene was also known for her love of sweets, and never turned down an opportunity to divulge in some ice cream or a pastry.
She is survived by her two daughters, Tracy (Ambeault) and her husband Christopher Jackson of Lincoln, RI, and Robin (Ambeault) and her husband Larry Sullivan of Jaffrey, NH, and her loving grandchildren Melissa (Higgins) and her husband Ron Warner, Ed Higgins Jr, Kristen Jackson, Kyle Jackson and his wife Carol Kaiser-Jackson, Alena Sullivan and Irina Sullivan.
She is also survived by her many great grandchildren, Mason Neal, Jackson Warner, Connor Neal, Mackenzie Warner, Kellan Warner, Aidan Jackson, and a new baby boy due at the end of August.
The family would like to thank Hope Health for all of their kindness, support and care that was given to Arlene the last few months of her life.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday September 6th, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave., Lincoln, RI. Her funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 7th at 10:00am at St. Joseph’s Church, 1303 Mendon Rd,, Cumberland, RI. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Hope Health in Providence, RI.
