Benjamin De Jesus, 62, passed on September 2, 2024. He was the longtime companion of Bertha Rivera Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Gregorio and Margarita (Pineiro) De Jesus.
He had been employed as an auto mechanic for many years and then worked as a landscaper for the past twenty years. Benjamin was a talented artist studying in NY. He kept many hand drawn albums of the daily events of his life and loving family around him.
He is survived by three children, Benjamin Rivera, his wife Cindy, Elizabeth Rivera, Willie Rivera, his wife Wendy, nine grandchildren, Jaylene, Jayla, Oscar, Isabel, Elajah, Willie Jr, Adrieanna, Ellieannie and Ariah, his siblings, and a sister Myrian.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 2pm until 4pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial will be private.
