Maureen A. Twohey passed away September 4, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. Maureen, age 65, was born December 31, 1958 to James J. and Lucille F. (Desmarais) Twohey. She was the youngest of six children. She lived her entire life in Central Falls, with the exception of one year in Lincoln, RI. Maureen graduated from Holy Trinity School and Central Falls Jr./Sr. High School. She also graduated from CCRI. She worked at Ann & Hope, Hasbro, and JoAnn Fabric & Crafts. Taught by her mother, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing clothes and especially quilts. She also enjoyed other crafts. Maureen is survived by her brothers Michael and wife, Patricia, Patrick and wife, Diane Martel and Edward and his companion, Cheryl Letchworth. She was the sister of the late Dennis and Kathleen Twohey. She was the Aunt of Sara, Brian, Erin, James and wife Alaina, and Timothy. She was the Great Aunt of Zoe and Cora, Adalynn and Lila.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 9th 2024 from 4pm-7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln.Burial private.
