Leo J. Chagnon, 71, of Central Falls, passed peacefully on October 15th, 2024 in Providence. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Harry J. and Alice (Coyle) Chagnon.
Leo was an incredibly special man who was loved by all who knew him. His family and friends will always remember him for his kindheartedness, compassion and loyalty to those he loved.
He is survived by two siblings, Alice Gregoire and husband Alfred, Christina Lafferty and husband Michael; his godchild and niece, Erica Derbyshire and husband Michael; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was the brother of the late Harvey Chagnon and wife Carolyn, and Rosalie Grandchamp and husband David.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, October 19th from 1:00 – 3:30pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a funeral home service at 3:30pm. Burial will be held privately at Notre Dame Cemetery.
