Chetarah Y. Sulaiman, 38, of Atlanta, GA, passed away October 1st, 2024. She was born in Providence, RI on 27th of May 1986. The daughter of Carolyn Jefferies of Providence and the late daughter of Mohammed A. Sulaiman of London, England.
Chetarah was a lifelong resident of Providence and a graduate of Mount Pleasant High school. Shortly after high school she moved to Atlanta, Ga to pursue her dreams in the fashion industry Her career path included employment with a variety of entities such as The Gap, Zara and most recently Bank of America.
Chetarah leaves many family members who will cherish her memory, including her sister Lettisha C. King (William) of Lincoln, RA brother Michael A. Jefferies of Prov., RI, nephew Davell Jefferies, nieces Rahkayla,Billie & Bailey King all of Lincoln, RI, uncle Melvin Jefferies (Melvina) of E. Prov., RI, aunt Marilyn Wade (Glen) of W. Warwick, RI.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Jimmy Jefferies, grandmother Annie B. (Jones) Jefferies, aunt Shirley Jefferies, uncles Donald, James and Leon Jefferies. Chetarah is deeply missed! She will live on in our hearts forever!
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 1:00pm - 2:30pm with a funeral home service starting at 2:30pm in Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial is private.
